Hello! My name is Natalia and I am the founder of ImaginArt Mats. I took a leap of faith on this exciting venture, with two young children (ages 4 and 7) in tow, to put something I was passionate about into fruition. Yes, it was intimidating, but when you find a solution to a problem that you believe in so strongly, you do anything to make it happen.
I saw firsthand how hard it was to find educational, easy to transport, entertaining toys for my kids. I thought if there was a reusable, easy-to-clean, imaginative coloring mat that could bring endless hours of entertainment, while teaching my kids, it would be a game-changer. So I created it! I wanted to ensure the quality of the product was outstanding and safe. Our FDA food-grade approved silicone, non-toxic mats and markers are just that! We also received the Good Market Approved seal which was very exciting for our company.
These mats are designed for learning and childhood development to help with fine motor skills, literacy and numbers, focus and concentration and spark creative thinking. And our friendly alien mascot, Comet, designed by my then 6-year old, appears in every design adding a fun continuity and hide-and-seek element to our mats.
